Project Description

WinWin is the DESIRED model of communication. This is based on the premise that although we have different needs and play different roles, we want to be seen as equal. In WinWin Conversations people try to find solutions that meet everyone’s needs. This is based on the assumption that as humans we all have the same fundamental deep needs, although we have different approaches to meeting those needs.

A WinWin is achieved by making sure we know how to uncover those needs in order to reach a constructive resolution. When applied to relationships, be they professional or personal, the underlying assumption is that if both people aren’t winning, both are losing. A WinWin Conversation is a process where people make a commitment to discover possibilities that previously did not seem to exist.
